Description
Jackson Hole Elders, one of three pilot projects in Wyoming, is planning to develop six Green House homes as part of a multi-phase project in Teton County.

Sponsoring Organization History
Jackson Hole Elders (JHE) is a grassroots organization arising from a family situation requiring elder care. As concerned friends began searching for other care options, they found The Green House model. These citizens, family members, and health care providers formed Jackson Hole Elders and became a 501(c)3 in 2007. JHE has received grants from the Wyoming Office of Aging and Jackson Hole Community Foundation. Accepted as a Green House project in 2009, they anticipate opening by 2012.

Sponsoring Organization Mission
Jackson Hole Elders exists to plan, develop and manage Green House homes for the elders of Teton County, Wyoming, and to advocate for the interests of elders in our community and across the State of Wyoming.
