Jefferson County Nursing Home is a county-government owned 135-bed dually certified skilled nursing facility located in Dandridge, Tennessee, at the foothills to the Great Smoky Mountains. Opening in January, 1969, it has the reputation for being the “Crown Jewel” for the Jefferson County, Tennessee, government due to its cleanliness, quality nursing care and homelike environment. The nursing home also prides itself on its food. Residents in the main dining room experience “Restaurant Style Dining,” as well as an early breakfast option. The facility has 155 full- and part-time employees and offers intermediate and skilled care, as well as Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies. With the addition of three Green House homes, the facility will grow to 160 beds.
