The VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) is always striving to improve the quality of care and life for the Veterans it serves. VAIHCS is developing two Green House homes on its campus in Danville, IL, to replace nursing home beds currently located in older buildings. Veterans who are severaly injured and need lifetime care will have the option of receiving personalized care in a small-home environment fostered by independence, personal control and engagement.

VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) provides primary, secondary, medical and surgical care, acute psychiatric care, extended long-term care and skilled nursing home care including Rehabilitation, Alzheimers and Palliative Care to more than 142,000 Veterans primarily residing in a 34-county area of central Illinois and west central Indiana. VAIHCS offers a full cadre of ambulatory care including mental health and substance abuse services.
